Jersey Journal: Authorities at N.J. home of shooter's brother

Local and federal law enforcement officials converged today on a residence in Hoboken after it was reported the suspected killer in the Newtown, Conn., school shootings lived there, Anthony J. Machcinski of the Jersey Journal newspaper in Jersey City is reporting.

Officers from the Hoboken Police Department, Jersey City Emergency Service Unit and the FBI descended on the home near 13th and Grand streets this afternoon. Earlier in the day, several national media outlets, including CNN, reported that the possible shooter was Ryan Lanza, a Hoboken resident. But that information proved incorrect, the Journal reported. The shooter has since been identified by authorities as Ryan's brother, Adam Lanza, 20.
