Woman in collar-bomb plot sent to Texas
ERIE - The woman charged with masterminding a plot that killed a pizza delivery man who was forced to rob a bank with a bomb locked around his neck has been transferred from the Erie County jail to a federal prison in Texas for mental-health treatment. Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong, 59, cannot stand trial in the August 2003 robbery plot until a federal judge in Erie determines she is mentally competent. Earlier this year, the judge ordered her to have treatment for at least 120 days. Armstrong has said she'll have that treatment at the Federal Medical Center at Carswell, in Fort Worth. Codefendant Kenneth Barnes last week pleaded guilty to his role in planning the heist. - AP
