Radnor Township laid off 12 employees Friday, citing the recession.

Eight full-time and four part-time employees from various departments, including finance, parks and recreation, community development, engineering, and administration, were let go, interim Township Manager John Granger said yesterday.

The layoffs are expected to save the township $282,000 this year and more than $800,000 next year, Granger said. - Joelle Farrell
