Mosquito spraying is set for tomorrow in Radnor

Parts of Radnor Township will be sprayed for mosquitoes tomorrow night, the state Department of Environmental Protection said. Samples of mosquito populations from those areas have tested positive for the West Nile virus.

Truck-mounted equipment will spray in West Wayne in the area bounded by Lancaster and Maplewood Avenues and South Valley Forge and Sugartown Roads.

There has been one confirmed human case of West Nile virus in Pennsylvania this year, the DEP said.

In case of rain, the spraying will be done Wednesday or Thursday, the DEP said. - Inquirer staff
