A Blackwood man pleaded guilty yesterday to aggravated manslaughter in the death of a Somerdale clerk during a 2004 robbery.

Gregory Williams, 21, appeared before Superior Court Judge Thomas Brown, where he admitted to stabbing Suraj Gulabani, 21, whose family owned the Country Farm Market on Warwick Road.
Williams told authorities he cut school Nov. 9, 2004, intending to rob the store that morning. The victim died of his wounds the next day.
Williams is expected to be sentenced Nov. 20 to a 24-year sentence, authorities said. - Barbara Boyer
