Valley Forge among top 10 parks for fall foliage

Valley Forge was one of two parks in Pennsylvania to make the top 10, joining the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Bushkill. At Valley Forge, peak colors are expected during the next two weeks, the foundation said.

The top 10 also included Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor, Maine; Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Brecksville, Ohio; Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina and Tennessee; Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore in Porter, Ind.; Mississippi National River and Recreation Area in St. Paul, Minn.; Mount Rainier National Park in Ashford, Wash.; New River Gorge National River in Glen Jean, W. Va.; and Saratoga National Historical Park in Stillwater, N.Y.
