A South Jersey pastor was being held at the Camden County Jail last night on $200,000 bail after being charged with sexually assaulting an underage girl, authorities said.
Gregor George Woodruff, 61, pastor of Ewan United Methodist Church in Mullica Hill, allegedly assaulted the girl "on numerous occasions" over the last two years, a spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.
Woodruff, of Gloucester City, was arrested Friday at the Kennedy Health System Crisis Center and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault, three counts of sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, the spokesman said. The Prosecutor's Office would not release information that could identify the girl, including her age, her hometown, or how she knew Woodruff.
