Free metered parking in city extended to today

Free metered parking is being extended through today as the city encourages people to return after last week's record snowfall, the Philadelphia Parking Authority announced.

In addition, there will be free parking after 5 p.m. for the first four hours in all Parking Authority garages, with the rate after that $3 an hour, through Friday. - Inquirer staff
