Lautenberg taken to hospital after a fall

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. - An aide to U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg said the senator was doing well after being taken last night to a hospital as a precautionary measure after a fall.

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. - An aide to U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg said the senator was doing well after being taken last night to a hospital as a precautionary measure after a fall.

Spokesman Caley Gray told the Record of Bergen County that the 86-year-old Democrat was taken by ambulance from his Cliffside Park home and was spending the night for routine observation. - AP
