Sketch of suspect released in assault on girl
Police yesterday released a sketch of the man they said sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl as she slept in her Oxford Circle home. The assault ended after a 74-year-old babysitter fought him off.
Police yesterday released a sketch of the man they said sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl as she slept in her Oxford Circle home. The assault ended after a 74-year-old babysitter fought him off.
The attack occurred about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Levick Street. The man entered the home and began assaulting the young girl. When the girl screamed for help, the 74-year-old babysitter came to her aid. The man escaped after the woman bit his right arm. The man was described as a light-complected African American, 18 to 22 years old, 6 feet tall with a thin build. He is clean-shaven but has facial acne or a skin condition.
