Rescue teams search for teen in Glouco creek

Gloucester County authorities were searching Wednesday night for a teen feared drowned in a Swedesboro creek.

Police were called about 9 p.m. to Raccoon Creek, near Broad and Third Streets, after a 16-year-old failed to resurface while swimming with some friends.

Fire rescue boats and a state police helicopter were searching the water late into the night. - Mike Newall
