Gov. Corbett on Wednesday named his two appointees to the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority board: Republican Rob Wonderling, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and Democrat John Kroll, a former general manager of the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia hotel who is a longtime hotel operator and currently president of Keating Hospitality.

The pair replace Michael Masch, chief financial officer of the Philadelphia School District, and Gregory J. Fox, a partner at Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, who were appointed by former Gov. Ed Rendell. Masch is a Democrat; Fox a Republican. Fox, however, is remaining on the authority as the newly elected chairman of the 15-member board. - Marcia Gelbart
