Camden man admits killing ex-girlfriend

A 49-year-old man admitted in court Monday that he killed his former girlfriend at her Camden apartment in 2012, Camden County Prosecutor Warren E. Faulk announced.

A 49-year-old man admitted in court Monday that he killed his former girlfriend at her Camden apartment in 2012, Camden County Prosecutor Warren E. Faulk announced.

Robert Norwood, of Camden, pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter for fatally stabbing Walkeena Moody, 24, at the Ferry Station Apartments.

Norwood is scheduled to be sentenced June 6 by Superior Court Judge Gwendolyn Blue. His plea is expected to result in a 27-year prison term, Faulk said. - Robert Moran
