CHERRY HILL The work of four artists will be on display Nov. 11 through Dec. 31 in the Katz JCC's Art Gallery at the Bank of America Festival of Arts, Books, and Culture of the Katz.

The community is invited to meet the artists at a reception at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Appel Art Gallery, 1301 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill.

Philadelphia artist Kat Mittman Kobak is the owner of Kat Designs L.L.C., which designs pieces for women. Her work combines gemstones, metals, and crystals. Kobak has been recognized for swag bags made for celebrities including Julianne Moore, Reese Witherspoon, Tina Fey, Viola Davis, John Mayer, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, and Jennifer Hudson.

Smadar Live, an award-winning artist born and raised in Israel, has a studio in Owings Mills, Md. Using bold, bright colors, subtle messages are painted into each piece. Her works include biblical references, poems, and history while incorporating recycled objects, fabrics, and antiques onto canvas.

Susan Ullman was born in Tennessee and has resided in New York City most of her life. She recalls having a love of homemade paper and collages from an early age. Her papers are superimposed on painted backgrounds and layered to evoke magical, dreamlike dimensional effects.

Jewelry artist, designer, and teacher Olga Mihaylova was born and raised in Bulgaria and now resides in Mount Lebanon, Pa. Mihaylova's signature designs often combine crystals and Czech glass with intricate and detailed seed bead work. Mihaylova won Best in Show at the 2009 Three Rivers Arts Festival, and Juror's Choice Award at the 2011 Three Rivers Arts Festival.
