Car fatally strikes man on Black Horse Pike

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Camden County, police said. Just before 6 p.m., police responded to a report that a man had been hit by a car on Black Horse Pike near Grand Avenue in Gloucester Township.

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Camden County, police said.

Just before 6 p.m., police responded to a report that a man had been hit by a car on Black Horse Pike near Grand Avenue in Gloucester Township.

The victim was found in the middle of the road with extensive injuries and in cardiac arrest. He was taken to Kennedy University Hospital in Washington Township, where he later died.

The driver was not hurt and remained at the scene.
