1 killed, 5 injured in 2-car crash on Route 70 in Burlco

One person was killed and five others injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 70 Friday evening in Burlington County, authorities said.

The accident was reported just before 6 p.m. between Medford-Evesham and Hartford Roads. At least one person was evacuated by helicopter to a local hospital, a dispatcher said. No further information was available about the fatality.

Route 70 was jammed in both directions because of the police investigation.
