Motorcyclist killed in Camden County
A Sicklerville man was killed Sunday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a a car in Winslow Township, police said.
A Sicklerville man was killed Sunday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a a car in Winslow Township, police said.
Weldon Battle, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene, Sicklerville Road and Vernon Court. The driver of the car, Charles Jones, 55, also of Sicklerville, was not hurt.
Police said Battle was riding his motorcycle south on Sicklerville Road at about 2:30 p.m. when the cycle collided with Jones' car. Jones was making a U-turn at the time, police said. They said the accident remained under investigation.
