Police: Teens stole cars from South Jersey Volkswagen dealership
Two teens have been arrested for allegedly stealing cars from Burlington Volkswagen on Route 130 in New Jersey.
Two teens have been arrested for allegedly stealing two vehicles from a South Jersey car dealership.
Officers responded to Burlington Volkswagen on Route 130 shortly before 7:45 a.m. Saturday for a report of a burglary and theft, according to a news release from the Burlington Township Police Department.
Employees told police two vehicles had been taken.
An ensuing investigation resulted in the recovery of the stolen cars, as well as the arrests of two suspects – a 17-year-old from Edgewater Park and a 15-year-old from Florence, police said.
The suspects, whose identities were not released, were jailed in the Burlington County Juvenile Detention Center. Authorities did not immediately disclose what charges would be filed.
An investigation remained ongoing Sunday.
