Small plane crashes into New Jersey backyard; 1 dead
One person died after a small plane crashed into the backyard of a home on Jackson road in Waterford Township, N.J, Camden County and federal authorities said.

One person died after a small plane crashed into the backyard of a Southern New Jersey home Saturday morning.
The single-engine Cessna 150 crashed in a wooded area behind a home along the 600 block of Jackson Road in Waterford Township about 11:15 a.m., according to county and federal authorities.
No injuries were reported to anyone on the ground, Camden County spokesman Dan Keashen said. The person killed, who was not immediately identified, was believed to have been the plane's sole occupant.
The cause of the crash hadn't been determined Saturday, but the Federal Aviation Administration was investigating, a spokeswoman confirmed. The agency was expected to release information about the aircraft's registration later Saturday.
The National Transportation Safety Board was also conducting a probe in an attempt to rule on a probable cause, the spokeswoman said.
The crash was the third fatal plane crash in New Jersey within a week. On Thursday, a single-engine plane bound for Atlantic City crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. The same day, officials recovered the body of a pilot reported missing after his plane crashed near the Somerset Airport on Tuesday.
