Pa. man sentenced in ex-girlfriend's death

WILKES-BARRE - A northeast Pennsylvania man was sentenced Wednesday to 121/2 to 40 years in prison in the stabbing death of his former girlfriend two years ago.

A Luzerne County jury convicted Robert Zola, 46, of Mountain Top, of third-degree murder in the December 2009 death of Rosemarie Cave.

Zola apologized Wednesday and said he loved the victim and missed her. - AP
