Man shot dead in North Phila.

The city's 168th homicide this year has been reported with the shooting of a 21-year-old Germantown man in North Philadelphia. Nathaniel Burnside was shot once in the chest and twice in the abdomen on the 1700 block of North Sydenham Street about 11 p.m. Friday, police said.

The city's 168th homicide this year has been reported with the shooting of a 21-year-old Germantown man in North Philadelphia.

Nathaniel Burnside was shot once in the chest and twice in the abdomen on the 1700 block of North Sydenham Street about 11 p.m. Friday, police said.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 11:52 p.m, police said.

They said they did not know a motive and had no suspects or witnesses.
