Seniors with E-ZPass must enroll for DRPA discount
Senior citizens eligible for an E-ZPass discount on Delaware River bridge tolls must enroll with the Delaware River Port Authority and register their E-ZPass transponders, the port authority said yesterday. Regular bridge tolls will rise $1, to $4, on Sept. 14. For senior citizens, the current $1 toll will double, except for those with registered E-ZPass transponders, who will pay $1.75.

Seniors without E-ZPass may enroll or request an application at

or by calling 1-888-288-6865. They may also apply at the E-ZPass Customer Service Center, 420 N. Sixth St., Camden. In addition, toll collectors will hand out applications at toll plazas.
Existing $1 senior-discount coupons will remain valid until 2010. Two coupons will be required to pay the $2 senior toll beginning Sept. 14.
