Chester City police have arrested a man on charges that he beat his infant son, fracturing the child's skull and breaking his ribs in 13 places. Reginald Dennis, 31, of the 2600 block of Curan Street, was charged with aggravated and simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child. His son, Brady Dennis, remains on a ventilator at Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Delaware, according to a criminal complaint.

Dennis is accused of injuring the 21/2-month-old child over several weeks.
