Lynne Cheney was treated yesterday at Hahnemann University Hospital after fainting.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney's wife was released last night after about three hours, and was to return to Washington today, hospital spokeswoman Coleen Cannon said.

She was taken to Hahnemann's emergency department after fainting yesterday afternoon. An aide to Dick Cheney said she was in Philadelphia on a private visit with her family. She waved to reporters as she rode away from the hospital in the back seat of a car next to her husband. - AP
