RUMSON, N.J. - Another dead bottlenose dolphin has been found at the Jersey Shore. The Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine confirmed Sunday that the mammal's carcass was found Saturday night in the Navesink River, near Victory Park. It was badly decomposed, meaning the dolphin probably died months ago.
The discovery comes less than a week after another dolphin's remains were spotted in the Shrewsbury River.
It is believed both were part of a pod of 16 that spent half of last year in the two rivers. If they were , it would mean five pod members died. - AP
