The preliminary hearing for a Feasterville woman whose faked abduction resulted in criminal charges has been postponed, her attorney said yesterday. No new date has been set.

Bonnie Anne Sweeten, 38, was scheduled to face a preliminary hearing Thursday before District Judge William J. Benz in Richboro, Bucks County. But Louis R. Busico, Sweeten's attorney, said he had not yet reviewed police documents in the case.

Busico declined to say what approach he would take in defending Sweeten. The mother of three phoned 911 last Tuesday, claiming she and her 9-year-old daughter were abducted after a rear-end car accident in Bucks County.

The two then flew to Orlando, where Sweeten was arrested on charges of ID theft and making a false police report. She is free on $100,000 cash bond. - Bonnie L. Cook
