Man who pursued Foxx ordered for treatment

A homeless man accused of trying to force his way into the Center City hotel room of the actor Jamie Foxx was, for a second time, ordered to undergo psychiatric treatment yesterday. Municipal Court Judge Thomas M. Nocella ruled that Steven Taliver, 49, was not mentally competent to be tried on the charges. The judge scheduled an Aug. 5 hearing on Taliver's mental health. - Vernon Clark
