For the second time this year, the Delaware County Council will meet at night and outside of Media.

The council will hold its June 23 meeting at 6 p.m. in the Chester Courthouse, 412 Avenue of the States, Chester, across from City Hall.

The County Council typically meets at the government center in Media at 10 a.m. Tuesdays, when many working county residents cannot attend.

The council held a night meeting in Collingdale in February, and it plans to hold another night meeting elsewhere in the county this fall, said William Lovejoy, county spokesman. - Joelle Farrell
