Rasheed Rose, 36, was shot multiple times at 10:14 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of South 21st Street in the city's Point Breeze neighborhood. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and pronounced dead at 10:33 p.m.

A 17-year-old youth was fatally shot in the 1900 block of South 56th Street in Southwest Philadelphia at 1:11 a.m. yesterday. He was pronounced dead at 1:51 a.m. at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

At 2:34 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 2600 block of North Wendle Street in the city's Fairhill section. Gilberto Velazquez, 20, was found with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests were reported in any of the cases. - Robert Moran
