Logan man killed in East Germantown shooting

A 37-year-old Logan man was fatally shot in East Germantown yesterday morning, police said.

Derrick Wilson of the 4500 block of North 20th Street was shot in the head shortly before 10 a.m. in the 800 block of Locust Avenue, police said. Wilson was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center and pronounced dead at 10:30 a.m.

An unknown assailant fled on foot after the shooting. Police reported no motive or arrests in the shooting. - Allison Steele and Robert Moran
