A New York City man wanted in 16 bank robberies, including two in Philadelphia, is on the run and believed to be "armed and dangerous," police said yesterday.

Anthony Boyd, 39, is the prime suspect in 14 armed and two additional robberies since escaping a Queens halfway house in December. Authorities believe he robbed two Citizens Bank branches in Center City, on Feb. 26 and March 14.
Police captured Boyd at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City on March 25, but he has since left custody.
