Work on the 96-year-old North Creek Road Bridge over White Clay Creek in London Britain Township will begin Monday, said a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The new bridge is scheduled to reopen in July 2010, the release said.
The deteriorating steel bridge, which averages 550 vehicles a day, has been posted with a weight restriction of five tons. - Kathleen Brady Shea
