Pa. Senate confirms new agriculture secretary
HARRISBURG - The state Senate yesterday confirmed Russell Redding to replace Dennis Wolff as state agriculture secretary. Wolff stepped down in August after 61/2 years in the job. Redding, 50, was one of Wolff's top aides, working in the department since 1995 and running its day-to-day operations as executive deputy secretary since 2003. - AP
