Man, 31, critically wounded in Kensington shooting

A 31-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting last night in Kensington, police said.

Shortly after 7 p.m., the man, whose name was not released, was shot in the lower abdomen while standing outside in the 900 block of East Westmoreland Street, police said. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, police said. No arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
