A car crash in Southwest Philadelphia early yesterday killed a 21-year-old man and injured two people, police said.
A car crash in Southwest Philadelphia early yesterday killed a 21-year-old man and injured two people, police said.
A 1999 Chevrolet Lumina was headed south on Cobbs Creek Parkway shortly after 3 a.m. when its driver lost control near Woodland Avenue. The vehicle jumped a curb, crashed into a tree, and flipped onto its roof, police said.
Joseph Moore of Darby was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene at 3:30 a.m. The driver, a 19-year-old man, and a female passenger, also 19, were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where they were reported in stable condition. - Sam Wood
