Police yesterday arrested Corey W. Cooper, 18, in the weekend shooting of a 64-year-old grandmother outside her Chester home.
Police yesterday arrested Corey W. Cooper, 18, in the weekend shooting of a 64-year-old grandmother outside her Chester home.
An arrest warrant had been issued for Cooper, of the 1100 block of Butler Street in Chester, after a witness identified him by his picture, police said.
Police said they believed Cooper had been shooting at a passing SUV in the 200 block of West Seventh Street on Saturday and hit Andrea Lee in the back by mistake. Lee was critically injured.
Cooper was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and related counts. - Inquirer staff
