Body in Lake Galena may be missing Bucks man

A body discovered Friday afternoon in Lake Galena in Bucks County could be that of a 63-year-old man who went missing Tuesday while fishing in a kayak, officials said.

A body discovered Friday afternoon in Lake Galena in Bucks County could be that of a 63-year-old man who went missing Tuesday while fishing in a kayak, officials said.

The body was found about 12:30 p.m. in the northeast part of the lake by a Bucks County ranger, officials said. The identity of the missing man has not been released. The Bucks County Coroner's Office will make the final determination.

The Bucks County man was reported missing around 9 p.m. Tuesday at the lake near Doylestown. Philadelphia police sent a helicopter to search the lake with a spotlight and found the man's kayak and fishing gear. - Robert Moran
