Philadelphia police have identified the man shot to death in West Philadelphia on Friday night in what they said was a drug deal gone wrong.

Philadelphia police have identified the man shot to death in West Philadelphia on Friday night in what they said was a drug deal gone wrong.

Homicide detectives said Saturday that the victim was Armen Tsaturyan, 31, of West Chester, who was found dead about 9:15 p.m. Friday in the 5400 block of Baltimore Avenue.

Police said they had no suspects. Tsaturyan was shot in the head and an arm, police said, and may have been returning fire at two men who shot him. A gun was found on his body. - Joseph A. Slobodzian
