ALLENTOWN - The parents of a woman whose body was found in the Lehigh River three decades ago have asked Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli to look into the mystery of their daughter's death.
The decomposing body of Donna Kroboth, 18, was found July 11, 1980, in the river in North Catasauqua. Officials at the time could not pinpoint the cause of death.
The 18-year-old had been living with her boyfriend but was planning to move back in with her parents, Joseph and Joan Kroboth. Morganelli told the Morning Call of Allentown that if his investigation determined that Donna Kroboth had been killed, it would be listed as a cold case and reopened. - AP
