Man who threw volume at Obama won't be booked

During Sunday's election rally in Germantown attended by President Obama and Vice President Biden, the Secret Service detained an unidentified man after he threw a paperback book onto the stage as Obama was speaking.

He was determined to be an "overexuberant" supporter of the president who hoped that Obama would pick up and read a book he had written, a Secret Service spokesman said. No charges were filed and the man's name was not released. - Thomas Fitzgerald
