A 10-year-old boy remains on life support after a Monday-night fire in his Strawberry Mansion rowhouse, relatives said Thursday.

A 10-year-old boy remains on life support after a Monday-night fire in his Strawberry Mansion rowhouse, relatives said Thursday.

Albert Blassengale, a Gideon School fifth-grader, suffered smoke inhalation when the fire broke out in the second story of his house on the 1800 block of North 27th Street. He was rushed to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

His father, Jimmy Blassengale, remains at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, recovering from smoke inhalation he suffered trying to save him. - Drew Singer
