Darrell Turner, 18, a linebacker and rising senior at Gateway High School in Monroeville, was killed and a teammate, Thomas Woodson, 15, was wounded in one leg, Durham Police Chief Jose Lopez said. Gabriel James Gamez, 22, of San Antonio, Texas, was charged with murder and assault in the Thursday night shootings. - AP
