A Montgomery County man has been arrested in a case of suspected "shaken baby syndrome."
A Montgomery County man has been arrested in a case of suspected "shaken baby syndrome."
Danilo Antonio Duran, 40, of Lansdale, was charged with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child and other related crimes. He was arraigned with bail set at $50,000 bail and transferred to the Montgomery County prison.
According to police, Duran flagged down an officer in Towamencin Township at 11:35 a.m. Monday. He had been trying to drive his five-month-old child, who had a seizure, to the hospital. The child was taken to Grand View Hospital suffering from a serious head injury, and later was transferred to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The baby is expected to recover. - Mari A. Schaefer
