SEPTA to outline planned transit changes

SEPTA will introduce plans to add bus service and make other service changes at two public sessions Wednesday.

The sessions will outline details of SEPTA's annual service plan for the fiscal year that begins July 1.

One highlight is a proposal to create direct bus service between South Philadelphia and the Market Street West business district in Center City.

The "open house" sessions will be in the board room at SEPTA headquarters, 1234 Market St., from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. - Paul Nussbaum
