A 40-year-old man was taken to a hospital after being struck by a SEPTA trolley Thursday afternoon in Upper Darby, an agency spokesman said. The accident occurred about 4:55 near the Congress Avenue station, said SEPTA spokesman Andrew Busch. The man was trying to cross the tracks when he was struck by an eastbound Route 101 trolley. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with a head injury and bone fractures, Busch said.
