Man critically wounded in Mill Creek shooting

A 35-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot in the chest Wednesday night in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia, police said.

The man was shot shortly before 8:30 p.m. at 46th Street and Lancaster Avenue, police said. Police rushed him to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
