Apparent robbery victim shot in Frankford
A man in his 50s was in surgery Wednesday night at Albert Einstein Medical Center after being shot during an apparent robbery in Frankford, police said. He was shot once in the stomach about 8:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of Bridge Street and told officers a man had tried to rob him at gunpoint.
