A Montgomery County man has been arrested and police are looking for his accomplice in an alleged case of insurance fraud.
On Nov. 8, Ian Jared Crotzer, 30, of Harleysville, reported his 2011 Infiniti G-37 car stolen from his residence. He then filed for an insurance claim.
Police said the car had a gap policy, which covers the difference between the actual value of the car and the balance on the car loan. Crotzer then allegedly asked Sterling Hall, 33, of Lansdale, to help hide the car at his condominium complex, and he planned to keep whatever money he could get from the insurance.
