Man, 24, shot and killed in North Philadelphia

A 24-year-old man was shot and killed around 8:15 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of North 16th Street, Philadelphia police said.

He was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital of multiple gunshot wounds. Police declined to release the victim's name and offered no information on whether there were witnesses. - Chris Mondics
