Two men hospitalized after shootings in city

An 18-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot Wednesday night in the city's Port Richmond section, police said, and a 36-year-old man was in stable condition after being shot in East Germantown. The first man was shot in the face and twice in a shoulder about 7:25 in the 2200 block of East Monmouth Street, police said. The victim was taken to Episcopal Hospital and then to Temple University Hospital. Police reported no arrests. The second victim was shot multiple times about 8:42 in the 1800 block of Conlyn Street. Police transported the man to Einstein Medical Center. No arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
